I was late reading the interview so I thought I'd leave my comments on this winner's blog and maybe more people will see them. Julia ~ I think you will love this book. I did. Kathy ~ I just loved every word of this book and I'm glad that Joe is getting his own story. I agree with Rula, I often found humor in the story and it was never forced. You took a seemingly impossible premise and made it work. This is an unforgettable debut book ~ A real keeper.
Oh, Kaelee. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! What lovely compliments--I may just frame your words! :-) I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the book, and I'm so grateful that you took the time to let me know! And by the way, Joe says hi. :-)
Hey Kaelee! Late or not, it's always great to see you here :) I agree it's a keeper book, and as for Joe, by the end of The Other Soldier I was dying to find out more about his past. So glad we'll be getting the full story on him! I'm totally intrigued.
Thank you, Rula! You all are so kind!! And I have to admit, I was kind of curious about Joe myself! ;-)
Congratulations, Julia! Whenever you get a chance to send your mailing address, I'll get a book right out to you. Or let me know if you'd prefer the Kindle version. Thank you so much for dropping in on the interview! I hope you enjoy the book! :-)
Sorry I missed this. Congrats, Julia!
Oh, yay!!! Thanks so much! *runs off to email*
Congrats to Julia!
